2026 Grant Recipients

On April 8th, the Boone County Foundation Fund (BCFF), an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF), awarded $56,100 in grant funding to 20 local charitable projects. In addition to the $27,100 in BCFF grant funds, $29,500 in grant funding was provided by the Harold Rudman Family Foundation. Both funding sources were created to support the mission and goals of local charitable organizations, however those funds from the Rudman Foundation are specifically designated to projects that support senior and veteran populations.

Since inception in 2005, the BCFF has granted $648,142 to support Boone County projects such as these. Funding for the annual grant program as well as other grants throughout each year is made possible by donations to the BCFF Unrestricted Endowment. Ongoing support of this fund ensures permanent funds on an annual basis to support important initiatives that support quality of life in every Boone County community.
